Meet the Coach

Updated: Oct 4, 2024

** Hey friends! Brooke here! It's such a pleasure to be here in Scottsdale, Arizona! I moved to AZ earlier this year, 2024, from New York City after spending time in Phoenix durring the Ironman 70.3 in October 2023. The beautiful sunsets, desertscape and pace of Arizona captivated me and a few months later, myself and my partner, T were living in the desert!

Having worn many hats whilst living in NY, first moving to the city to continue my career in hospitality as a bartender, to then becoming a Union Ironworker's apprentice in 2020, I have met people from all walks of life.

From serving guests from all over the world at a popular cocktail bar in the East Village, to being shot at in the Bronx working in construction, you can imagine the variance in people I've interacted with. When you live in New York, using public transportation and you work in hospitality, you will literally interact with hundreds of people each month.

If you've never lived there, you think I'm exggerating. If you do/ have, you know that it's probably more like thousands.

Over they years and all of the connections I have made, there have been certain people who stand out in one way or another, who have inspired me to be better.

People who I may have had a personal relationship with, a colleague or mentor, a coach or even just someone I had a 3 minute chat with on the subway and never saw again....

There are people who radiate confidence and happiness. These are the people who inspire other's around them. Their positivity and "can do" attitude is infectious.

These gems exist in every industry. Every walk of life.

I have gathered that there are a hand full of things that the happiest and most confident have in common. They give a shit about their job. They give a shit about their health and their relationships. They are always growing. This nod to collective of individuals over the course of my life who inspired me, pushed me, saw the good in me when I couldn't see it for myself is necessary in introducing myself, beacuse I have not always been healthy, happy, ambitious and I didn't always have boundaries and goals.

All of the best things about myself are a result of others influencing me to be better and showing me that I can accomplish anything through hard work and a determined mindset.

This is my truth that I am here to spread.
